Kids Beginner Cake Decorating Class
This will be a 3 day class that your kids will love! The first day the kids will learn the basics of baking a simple cake recipe and making frosting. They will also learn to fill a frosting bag and practice piping with a few different shaped tips. The second day the kids will learn to work with fondant and make cupcake toppers for cupcakes. They will then use a frosting bag\tips to decorate 6 cupcakes and put their fondant decorations on top to bring home from class that day. The third day they will learn to ice a 6″ cake and decorate it with fondant decorations as well as the piping techniques that they have learned. They will get to bring home their completed cake as well as the spatula they used to ice their cake and the frosting tips they used. After taking this class they will have learned all the basics of cake decorating that will surely have them on their way to becoming a master cake decorator! Classes are limited to 4 kids and is for ages 8 and up. All supplies are provided. Classes are located in West Jordan,Ut

Kids Advanced Cake Decorating Class – 2 Day Class
This class is for kids that have either taken my beginner cake decorating class or can ice a cake smooth and have had some experience working with fondant. The first day of class your child will learn to work with gumpaste and will also learn to make fun 3D fondant decorations. On the second day of class we will ice a 6” cake and then they will learn to cover it with fondant and how to smooth it. We will use the gumpaste and fondant decorations they made the day before to decorate their cake. All supplies are provided for them and they will get to bring home their beautiful cake. Due to the amount of space to roll the fondant out, this class is limited to 4 students and for ages 10 and up. Classes are located in West Jordan, Ut

Basic Fondant Cake Class (adult class)
I have been teaching cake decorating classes for about 12 years and have made numerous cakes using a large variety of techniques. I recently had the opportunity to be on The Food Networks hit show Cake wars which was an incredible experience. In my class I’ll share with you the knowledge and skills I have learned throughout my career and you will be taught the most current and popular trends in the cake decorating world.
This class is held at my home in a kitchen exclusive for cake decorating. You will be taught step by step instructions for each technique so you will feel confident enough to make your own custom cake for your next event.
In this class you will learn how to prepare a cake to be covered in fondant, cover it with fondant and design it for any occasion. This is a basic class, it is for beginning cake decorators. You don’t have to have prior experience in cake decorating.
This is a one day, 3 hour class. All supplies are provided for you, and when you leave you’ll be given a folder full of notes, techniques and recipes to help you on your cake decorating journey. You will also get to take home your beautiful creation you have just made.
Class size is limited to keep it more semi-private (4 students). Pre-payment and registration for the class is required to secure your spot in the class. Bring an apron and make sure to pull your hair back out of your face.
Class fee – $115.00
